After receiving the boas, please remove them from the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to get rid of any debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer you hang them, the better they will look. Feather boas are also washable - clean them by hand-washing in warm water and soap, rinsing off the soap with cold water. Then, wipe the boas with a towel or paper towels, and use a blow dryer to finish drying them and maintain their fluffiness. All of our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized.

Before using the boas, please shake off any extra feathers outdoors, as our feathers are all-natural and handcrafted, and there may be some feather drops, though this will not affect their use. Please note that all dark feather boa colors are not colorfast, so keep them away from lighter colors.

The ropes attached to the ends of the feather boas are white or black. If you don't like the rope color, you can cut off the excess or use a color pen to paint the white rope as desired.
