After receiving the boas, it is recommended to remove them from the PVC bag(s) outdoors to get rid of any debris that may have formed during processing and shipping. The boas should then be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use, as the longer they are hung, the better they will look.

Feather boas are also washable. To clean them, simply hand-wash in warm water and soap, rinse off the soap with cold water, and then wipe the boas with a towel or paper towels. Use a blow dryer to finish drying the boas and maintain their fluffiness. All of our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized.

Before using the boas, it is recommended to shake off any extra feathers outdoors. The ropes attached to the ends of the boas are either white or black. If the customer does not like the rope color, they can simply cut off the excess rope. Alternatively, they can use a color pen to paint the white rope as desired.
