Before using, please shake off any extra feathers outdoors. As the feathers are all-natural and hand-crafted, there may be some shedding, but this will not affect the overall use of the boa.

It is important to note that all dark feather boa colors are not colorfast. Therefore, it is advised to keep them away from lighter colors.

Tips: 1. After receiving the boas, please pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to remove any debris formed during processing and shipping. 2. Hang the boas for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer they are hung, the better they will look. 3. Chandelle feathers do shed, and they will initially shed a lot when first taken out. You can minimize fly-aways by using a lightweight aerosol hairspray, avoiding anything heavy or sticky. 4. Feather boas are washable. Clean them by hand-washing in warm water and soap, then rinse off the soap with cold water. Wipe off the excess water with a towel or paper towels, and use a blow dryer to finish drying and maintain the fluffiness.
