Before use, please shake off any extra feathers outdoors. After this, there should not be many feathers falling down. Since the feathers are all-natural and handcrafted, there may be some feather drops, but this will not affect your use. Please note that all dark feather boa colors are not colorfast, so keep them away from lighter colors.

General Information: The 30-gram marabou feather boas are versatile decorative items that can also be used for various crafting and sewing projects. They measure 6 feet in length and approximately 2.5-3 inches in width. We also offer 14-gram and 18-gram marabou feather boas.

Tips for Use: After receiving the boas, please remove them from the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to get rid of any debris from processing and shipping. Hang the boas for 48 to 72 hours before use, as the longer you hang them, the better they will look.

Feather boas are washable. Clean them by hand-washing in warm water and soap. Rinse off the soap with cold water, then wipe the boas with a towel or paper towels. Use a blow dryer to finish drying the boas and maintain their fluffiness.

All our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized. If the strings on the ends of the boa are too long, you may retie them tightly as close to the feathers as possible and cut the rest off. This will not cause the boa to fall apart.
