Before using, please shake off any extra feathers outdoors. As these feathers are natural and handcrafted, there may be some feather drops, but this will not affect the use. All dark feather boa colors are not colorfast, so keep them away from lighter colors.

General Information: The perfect split turkey boa is economical yet beautifully elegant. This boa looks great around the shoulder or can be used as a trimming for evening wear, prom dresses, costumes, hat pieces, and theatrical events. We only use the best quality feathers, hand-sewn and perfectly dyed to vibrant colors.

Tips: After receiving the boas, please pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, to get rid of any debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer you hang them up, the better they will look. Chandelle feathers do shed, and you can minimize fly-aways by using a light-weight aerosol hairspray, not anything heavy or sticky.

Feather boas are also washable. Clean them by hand-washing in warm water and soap, then rinse off the soap with cold water. Wipe off the boas with a towel or paper towels, and use a blow dryer to finish drying and maintain their fluffiness.
